This depends on your campaign setting. If you chose to show the popup on exit intent it will appear when the mouse cursor of the user hits the first 150px from above (an indicator that your customer tries to go to another tab or close the browser on a desktop pc. The mobile behavior is different and explained within the App.). If you chose to show the popup on click then it will be shown when you or your customers click "Add to cart", "Checkout" or "Continue to shopping" - depending on which page you set the popup to show up in Step 1. The popups do not appear immediately as we're only able to load scripts at a late point in time of the page load. So it takes about 2 seconds when the popup is loaded. We will improve this behavior in time.
If your popup isn't showing up it usually means that it wasn't loaded or that it does not match your campaign targeting settings. Although if you're convinced that the settings are right please do not hesitate to contact us via the Chat in the bottom right corner below or at firstname.lastname@example.org. Your message goes directly to the developers of the App.
Add to cart events are not tracked by default. Although you can use Analytics services like Google Analytics. For this purpose, we recommend setting up 'Enhanced Ecommerce Tracking' withing Google Analytics. For setting up GA you can check this Shopify Help Article Section. If you are using a GA4 property you are probably using the GTAG. In such a case please contact us and we will help you to set up the Add to cart Event.
If you have not enough views left but are not able to pay our Plus plan we recommend you to wait until the end of the month. The available views will automatically reset to 0 and your exit intent popups will show up again.
